Okinawa Scooters has expanded its product portfolio by launching the PraisePro electric scooter. Priced at Rs 71,990, the PraisePro has been positioned between the standard Praise and the top-spec i-Praise plus models, priced at Rs 59,899 and Rs 1.15 lakhs, respectively. Bookings for the new PraisePro have already commenced and the e-scooter is available at dealerships across the country.
The PraisePro has been introduced keeping the affordability and convenience factor in check. The e-scooter gets all the features offered on the standard Praise and gets a lithium-ion battery instead of the lead-acid unit. The battery is a single unit that is detachable and which can be conveniently charged via a regular socket. The PraisePro has a charging time of about 2-3 hours and on a full charge, it can be ridden for 110km in Eco mode and 90 km in Sports mode.
The e-scooter’s powertrain comprises of a 1kW BLDC waterproof motor that draws power from a 2Kwh detachable lithium-ion battery. The PraisePro is capable of offering a peak power output of 2500 Watts. In terms of top speed figures, the e-scooter is limited to 30-35kmph in Eco mode, 50-60kmph in Sports mode and 65-70kmph in Turbo mode. The PraisePro is capable of scaling gradients up to 15 degrees.
In terms of features, the PraisePro comes with a digital instrument console, central locking with an anti-theft alarm, keyless ignition, Find My Scooter function, mobile charging USB port and Motor Walking Assist (Front/Reverse Motion) function.
Okinawa is offering the PraisePro with the choice of two colour shades- Glossy Red Black and Glossy Sparkle Black. Each PraisePro is covered under Okinawa’s Roadside Assistance Programme which provides free towing twice within the policy period and one additional free towing in case of mechanical issues apart from other conveniences.
