- All Ola experience centers will have service desks
- Changes to be made in the next 30 days
- Ola maps incoming
After switching to offline showrooms from an online-only model last year, Ola is now looking to adapt walk-in service centers as well. CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, announced the same on his social media handles.
Ola will launch service subscription plans in the coming week and update all its experience centers with a service desk in the next 30 days. This will allow customers to walk into the facility and get their scooter serviced on the same day. Currently, no customers are allowed for a walk-in service in any of Ola’s workshops.
The company recently rolled out a new software update for its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooter – the Move OS3. With the new OTA update, the e-scooter now features three levels of regenerative braking, moods and faux exhaust notes, document storage, hill hold (beta stage), proximity lock/unlock, and a few other tweaks. We’ll soon publish a report on our experience with Move OS3 on our Ola S1 Pro long-term scooter.
Lastly, Ola currently has only three models on sale – S1 Air, S1, and S1 Pro. However, the EV maker has shown interest in the motorcycle segment as well. So, we could expect some announcements from Ola Electric in the future.
