- 200 Ola Experience Centres to open in India by March 2023
- 20 Experience Centre is already operational
- These are Ola’s speak for offline showrooms
Ola Electric is now operating offline along with its online model. The Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer has announced opening its ‘Experience Centres’ across the country. Here’s what these centres could offer.
Ola Electric CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, revealed that the brand will open 200 Experience Centres in India by March 2023 and 20 of them are already operating. Currently, these touchpoints are opened in Chandigarh, Delhi, Kolhapur, Belgaum, Mangalore, Pune, Thrissur and Chennai.
Interested buyers can visit the centre and ask for test rides, finance option details, service and more. Visit bookings can be made on the company’s website with various time slots available throughout the day. Ola’s move to adopt the conventional brick-and-mortar system after announcing its online-only model is a bit contrasting. But the buyers would benefit from this as they can experience the product first and then make the purchase decision.
As of now, Ola Electric has the S1 and the S1 Pro on sale in its portfolio. The former retails at Rs 99,999 while the latter costs Rs1,39,999 (both ex-showroom Bengaluru). Ola is also planning to deploy the Move OS 3 update via OTA for the scooters, in the coming months. We currently have the Ola S1 Pro in our long-term fleet and here’s our experience so far.
