- Ola electric scooter spied in two new colour options
- Booking amount kept at Rs 500
- Likely to be called Series S
Ola electric scooter has been spotted in two new colour options (Pink and Light Blue) ahead of its launch. The Black coloured model seen in the spy images has already been showcased by the brand. The company has now also started accepting bookings for the same. Customers can pay a token amount of Rs 500 to book the electric scooter. This booking amount is fully refundable and has no conditions on it. The new Ola electric scooter is likely to be called the Series S.
From the images, it can be seen that the e-scooter gets a dual projector headlamp, LED DRL, an LED taillight, single-piece seat, external charging port, a hump on the footrest area, a hook for carrying luggage, split-type rear grab handles, a black coloured floor mat and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Cabs, had recently teased a few features of the upcoming Ola electric scooter. According to the tweet, the Ola e-scooter will feature a best-in-class boot space (capable of carrying two helmets), a best-in-class riding range and app-based keyless access. We also expect it to get navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Before this tweet, the CEO of the company had also shared with us that in just four months, the Phase One of the Ola futurefactory had neared its completion.
While we have now learnt about the features and design of the upcoming Ola e-scooter, we are yet to know the details related to its battery, motor, range, price and launch date. Stay tuned to BikeWale, and we will keep you posted!
