Ola Electric recently took to social media to announce that the production of its electric scooters has commenced. What's more, the test rides of the scooters will begin on 10 November, 2021.
The new electric two-wheeler manufacturer recently shared a video on social media, putting emphasis on women employees working at the plant. The company has drastically ramped up the production pace to cater to demands. It has already launched two electric scooter models - the S1 and S1 Pro which are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom).
The Ola S1 and S1 Pro mainly differ in terms of battery range and top speed. The base S1 is claimed to deliver a range of 121kms and the top speed is rated at 90kmph. While this already seems impressive, the Pro variant goes a step ahead with a range and top speed of 181kms and 115kmph, respectively. Meanwhile, both the e-scooters are generously loaded with modern features, with the Pro trim incorporating a few additional goodies.
Ola Electric has introduced a wide range of colour options for the S1 and S1 Pro. Interested buyers can pre-book the scooters online by paying Rs 499.
