The much-awaited Ola electric scooter will make its debut in the Indian market on 15 August 2021. The launch update was confirmed by the company’s co-founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal on social networking platform, Twitter. The company has already commenced the pre-bookings for the vehicle, and it received over 1,00,000 interests in the first 24 hours of opening reservations.
The company has remained tightlipped about most details of this upcoming electric scooter, although it has confirmed that the vehicle will be available in 10 colour options.
The teaser videos and spy photographs have confirmed that the upcoming Ola electric vehicle will feature a twin-pod headlight with an LED DRL ring and apron-mounted sleek LED indicators at the front, a body-coloured fender, curvy design, a sleek LED taillight, and an external charging port at the back. The scooter will also get large under-seat storage that can accommodate two open-face helmets.
The complete specifications and the details about the deliveries, as confirmed by Aggarwal in his tweet, would be announced at the launch.
