Ola Electric will debut in the Indian market with its new electric scooter on 15 August, 2021. The company’s co-founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal had posted the launch details on social networking platform, Twitter. The electric two-wheeler manufacturer has already commenced the pre-bookings for the vehicle. It has received a positive response, and the company received over 1,00,000 interests in the first 24 hours of opening reservations.
The details about this new electric scooter are limited, although the company has confirmed features like large under-seat storage and the colour choices. The new Ola electric scooter will be available in 10 colour options.
While Ola Electric has kept most details under wraps, teaser videos and spy photographs have revealed several styling cues on the upcoming scooter. The new product will feature a twin-pod headlight with an LED DRL ring and apron-mounted sleek LED indicators at the front, a body-coloured fender, curvy design, a sleek LED taillight, and an external charging port at the back. The under-seat storage, as seen in the teaser video, can accommodate two open-face helmets.
Ola Electric will reveal the complete specifications, variants, prices, and the details about the deliveries at the launch.
