- Ola Electric teases new blue and green colours
- Likely to be featured on the S1 Air
- Updated S1 Air to be launched next month
Ola Electric has been on a teasing spree for a while. To create hype around its upcoming launch event, which is to take place next month, the company has been rolling out multiple teasers. One of these shows two new colour options - a light green shade and a mild blue paint scheme.
As of now, it’s not confirmed which Ola offering will be adorned with these colours. Ola Electric currently sells three e-scooters in India including the S1, S1 Pro, and S1 Air. The former two are available in over 10 colour schemes while the latter comes in a choice of five colours only. Hence, it would be logical for the brand to offer the new shades for the Air trim.
The electric two-wheeler giant is prepping to host an event next month which is being touted online with the hashtag #EndICEAge. At this event, the company will be launching a more powerful version of its most affordable electric scooter, the S1 Air. As revealed by the teaser, the e-scooter will get a 4.5kW motor which is substantially bigger than the existing 2.7kW unit. This should facilitate the S1 Air with peppier acceleration and a higher top speed. As of now, the S1 Air comes with a claimed top speed of 85kmph and 125km of battery range.
The existing variant of the Ola S1 Air is priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). However, the upcoming version will be considerably more expensive courtesy of the inclusion of a bigger motor.
