Ola Electric has just expanded its most affordable variant – the S1 X. The company has added a new 4kWh battery option at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
This new variant has a claimed riding range of 190km in one single full charge, the latter of which takes 6 hours 30 minutes. The claimed top speed of this EV stands at 90kmph – just like that of the S1 Air. In terms of overall numbers, this variant of the S1 X is identical to the other variants, except in the weight section. Due to the presence of a larger battery, this variant is 4kg heavier than the standard S1 X.
Along with this new EV variant, the company has also introduced an industry-first, 8-year/80,000km battery warranty program as standard. This new program applies to the entire Ola S1 line-up and customers even have the option to extend the warranty to 1,25,000km by paying Rs. 5,000. This new battery warranty figure is going to help the brand garner additional sales in India.
The bookings for the S1 X 4kWh will commence from day one, but deliveries will only begin from April. This EV is offered in Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, Funk, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver colour options.
