Ola Electric debuted its maiden motorcycle range recently in the form of the Roadster. There are three different models in the Roadster range – X, Standard, and Pro. In this story, we will talk about five things that you should know about the standard Roadster.
Sporty Design
Compared to the X and the Pro, the standard Roadster strikes a balance between the two in terms of design. It looks like a proper commuter and has a dash of sportiness with its contrasting colours. The overall design is sleek and futuristic, to say the least.
Ample Features
Ola has loaded the Roadster with some quintessential as well as swanky features. The list includes hill hold and descent control, proximity lock and unlock, four ride modes – hyper, sports, normal, and eco, tyre pressure monitoring, tamper alert, a seven-inch TFT touchscreen, Ola maps, and projector LED lights. It also gets single-channel ABS.
Multiple Battery Options
Similar to the other models, the standard Roadster also gets multiple battery options – 3.5kWh, 4.5kWh, and 6kWh. These offer a maximum range of 151km, 190km, and 249km, respectively. Even the top speed varies for the three –116kmph for the smallest battery pack and 126kmph for the remaining two. For reference, all three get the same 13kW motor setup.
Simple Hardware
The Ola Roadster rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock. Its braking hardware comprises a single front and rear disc mounted on alloy wheels.
Asking Price
The asking price for the Ola Roadster starts from Rs. 1,04,999, for the 3.5kWh unit and goes to Rs. 1,19,999, and Rs. 1,39,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) for the 4.5kWh and 6kWh battery options, respectively.
