Ola Electric has launched the Roadster Pro electric motorcycle in India. The Ola Roadster Pro is available in two variants- 8kWh and 16kWh. The former is priced at Rs 2 lakh, ex-showroom. The 16kWh variant is priced at Rs 2.5 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Ola Roadster Pro has a 52kW electric motor that produces 105Nm of peak torque. The company adds that the 16kWh battery equipped Roadster Pro can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 1.9s and is capable of hitting a top speed of 194 kmph. As for the range, the 16kWh battery enables the Roadster Pro to cover 579 km in a single charge.
The Roadter Pro houses the battery in a place where one usually finds an ICE. The bike has a steel frame that is suspended by an USD fork and a monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by a pair of discs at the front and a disc at the rear. ABS is standard.
Ola has thrown in a long list of features on Roadster Pro. It gets a new 10-inch TFT, touchscreen display. The bike has four ride modes- Hyper, Sport, Normal and Eco. In addition there are two customisable modes as well.
The company adds that with the introduction of the MoveOS 5 software update in the future, the Roadster Pro will also get three-step traction control, anti-wheelie, geofencing and ADAS.
Reservations for the Ola Roadster Pro with the 8kWh battery will commence from 15 August with deliveries set to take place in the fourth quarter of FY 2026.
