- Purchase window to open on 28 July
- Early reserves to get an introductory price of Rs. 1,09,999
- Will be the most affordable Ola scooter
Ola Electric is all set to welcome its most affordable electric scooter, the S1 Air, very soon and has now announced that the purchase window will open on 28 July. However, Ola community members and the ones that reserve it early will get the S1 Air at an introductory pricing of Rs. 1,09,999 and this offer is valid from 28 July to 30 July. Post that, the asking price for the S1 Air will be hiked to Rs. 1,19,999 (all ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
The S1 Air was recently spotted testing as well. Compared to the S1 and S1 Pro, the Air has a smaller battery and different hardware. It’ll be powered by a 3kWh battery linked to a 4.5kW (peak power) motor. It’ll get 125km of total range and a top speed of 85kmph.
While the S1 Air looks similar to the remaining two models, it rides on conventional telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks compared to the monoshock setup we’ve seen on the S1 and S1 Pro. Moreover, it gets a flat floorboard too instead of the one with the spine. That said, it’s equipped with the same twin projector LED headlights and curvy side panels too.
Ola will offer features like a seven-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, GPS, music playback, three ride modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport), reverse mode, remote boot lock/unlock, and side stand alert. Once launched, it will rival the TVS iQubestandard, Ather 450S and the 450X base variant.
