Ola Electric has commenced the bookings for its most-affordable electric scooter, the S1 Air in the Indian market. The company will offer this version of the electric scooter in three variants and the prices start from Rs 84,999. Meanwhile, the mid and top variants of the S1 Air are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bangalore), respectively.
The three variants of the Ola S1 Air will feature 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery packs, a 4.5kW hub motor, and a top speed of 85kmph. The 2kWh variant offers an IDC range of 85km. Meanwhile, the IDC range for the 3kWh and 4kWh variants stand at 125km and 165km, respectively.
The S1 Air comes with five dual-tone paint themes – Coral Glam, Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver. The customers who had earlier reserved the 2.5kWh variant of S1 Air during the Diwali reservation window will be upgraded to the 3Kwh variant for no additional cost.
Apart from starting the bookings, the company also confirmed in its press announcement that the purchase window, test rides, and deliveries of the new S1 Air would commence in July 2023.
