- Introductory price of Rs. 1,09,999 valid till 15 August
- Is the most affordable Ola e-scooter
- Positioned below the S1 Pro directly
Ola Electric has officially postponed the S1 Air’s price hike. The e-scooter was introduced at a price tag of Rs. 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and it was supposed to be revised by Rs. 10,000 on July 31. But Ola has decided to continue with the same asking price until 15 August. Post that, the S1 Air will be priced at Rs. 1,19,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
The Ola S1 Air is powered by a 3kWh battery that’s linked to a 4.5kW (peak power) motor. It gets 125km of range and a top speed of 85kmph. The Air’s design is similar to that of the S1 and S1 Pro, but it comes with conventional telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks compared to the monoshock setup we have seen on its siblings. It also gets a flat floorboard instead of the spine-integrated setup. That said, the S1 Air features the same twin projector LED headlights and curvy side panels as its siblings. Then, its list of features includes a seven-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, music playback, ride modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport), reverse assist, remote boot lock/unlock, and side stand alert.
Currently, Ola has the S1 Air and the S1 Pro in its portfolio. The brand recently discontinued the S1, which was its mid-level e-scooter. Meanwhile, the S1 Pro is the most expensive Ola scooter currently, with an asking price of Rs. 1,39,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). It not only gets more range than the S1 Air but also has a higher top speed, more features, and a larger boot.
