Ola Electric has received a promising response for its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters as the company registered sales of more than Rs 1,100 crore in two days. The Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO, Ola, shared the update via microblogging website, Twitter.
Aggarwal further added that the purchase window for the new Ola S1 and S1 Pro will reopen on 1 November, 2021. Interested buyers can reserve the electric scooter through the company’s website or smartphone application. Buyers who had already reserved the electric scooter, but did not purchase in the window that ended on 16 September, 2021 will also be able to purchase on November 1.
The Indian electric two-wheeler maker announced the commencement of the sales of the S1 and S1 Pro on 15 September, 2021. The company is prioritising users based on their dates of reservation. Ola Electric had previously announced that the deliveries of the S1 and S1 Pro will begin in October 2021. The company plans to start delivering across 1,000 cities and towns in India.
The new Ola S1 is available at Rs 99,999 while the Pro variant has been listed at Rs 1,29,999 (both ex-showroom). These prices include the benefits of the FAME-II subsidy. State level subsidies further reduce the prices and the Ola S1 series is available from as low as Rs 79,999 onwards. Check out the complete price list here.
