Ola S1 Pro gets a discount of Rs. 5,000

-         S1 Pro now available with Rs. 5,000 discount 

-         Offer valid only till 16 April 

-         Ola plans to launch an electric adventure motorcycle 

Ola Electric has once again launched a discount offer for the S1 pro electric scooter. The company is offering it with a discount of Rs. 5,000, taking the ex-showroom price to Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). 

This discount offer is, however, valid till 16 April. Over the last few months, this company has been coming out with discount offers that help them push the sales for the respective month. Ola Electric doesn’t work like the regular two-wheeler brands, which is how it gives out quick and limited discounts as and when required. 

Notably, Ola has been topping the EV sales chart month after month. The sales numbers show that Indian consumers have accepted the product well, even though it had a few software and hardware issues. Some of the S1 Pro customers had trouble with it as the front suspension failed under normal riding conditions. The brand addressed this issue by promising to fix it free of cost with a new setup. However, it refused to call this activity a recall.   

The brand plans to expand its portfolio and has teased a range of new electric motorcycles, including an adventure bike. While this aggressive growth plan looks exciting and encouraging, it will be challenging for the brand to get the products right in terms of pricing and quality control.
