- The updates will be deployed via OTA
Ola Electric CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, has recently announced on his social media handles that the S1 Pro is set to receive the MoveOS 3 very soon. Currently, the timeline is set for Diwali of this year, which is October.
As of now, the scooter features the MoveOS 2 which lets the owners use the navigation, music control, Eco mode, scooter lock/unlock, boot lock/unlock and Bluetooth connectivity. That said, the MoveOS 3 will unlock new features like hill hold, proximity unlock, moods, regen V2, hyper charging, calling, key sharing, and voice commands too.
Ola is also working on a new art Battery Innovation Center (BIC) in Bengaluru. Bhavish Aggarwal claims that BIC will be the largest and most advanced R&D facility. It’ll need an investment of 500 Million USD.
We had a chance to test the MoveOS 2 briefly and you can head here to read about it. Moreover, the Ola S1 Pro is also our long-term vehicle until September. Here’s how we’ve planned to test it.
