Ola S1, S1 Pro electric scooters deliveries to begin tomorrow

Ola Electric is all set to commence the deliveries of its electric scooters, the S1 and S1 Pro, in India starting tomorrow, 15 December. The company confirmed the news through its official social media channels that the first lot has been dispatched to the cities where the respective early buyers are located. 

The Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters can be pre-booked by paying Rs 499 on its official website and the deliveries will take place as per the booking sequence. The whole process of buying and financing is online and contact-less. As for the prices, the S1 and S1 Pro are pegged at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Ola S1 and S1 Pro are generously equipped with modern features like a touch-screen display, full-LED lighting, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, keyless operations, and a bunch of other goodies. However, the S1 Pro gets additional features like a hill-hold system and cruise control. 

There’s a difference in the S1 and S1 Pro’s battery range and top speed as well. These figures are rated at 181km and 115kmph, respectively, for the top-spec Pro trim. The standard model, meanwhile, maxes out at 90kmph and the battery delivers a range of 121kms. While the S1 is available only in five colour options, the S1 Pro buyers get a choice of 10 paint schemes.
