Ola recently discontinued its 2kWh and 4kWh battery options for the S1 and S1 Air. So now, the overall lineup is back to square one, and the S1 Pro, S1, and S1 Air are available in a single trim only. Let’s take a look at all three variants of the revised Ola electric scooter range.
S1 Air
The S1 Air is the most affordable electric scooter in the brand’s portfolio. It features the same design as the remaining models but is devoid of the central spine which adds to the space near the floorboard. However, the S1 Air also gets a notably lower range and top speed compared to its siblings. Meanwhile, its features list comprises a seven-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, GPS, music playback, three ride modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport), reverse mode, remote boot lock/unlock, and side stand alert. The hardware is another area where the S1 Air differs from the remaining two models. It rides on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks unlike the monoshock setup used by the S1 and S1 Pro.
The S1 Air draws power from a 3kWh battery and a 2.7kW motor. Its claimed range is 125km and it gets a top speed of 85kmph. The asking price for the Ola S1 Air is set at Rs. 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
S1
The S1 is the mid variant in the Ola e-scooter line. It costs Rs. 1,29,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and is equipped with a 3kWh battery linked to a 5.5kW motor. It gets a top speed of 95kmph and a maximum range of 141km.
Ola has equipped the S1 with a variety of features such as LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled seven-inch colour TFT display, three ride modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport), side stand alert, reverse mode, and a combined braking system. Its design and hardware are the same as the S1 Pro – a monoshock and disc brakes at both ends.
S1 Pro
The S1 Pro is the current flagship offering from Ola. It’s priced at Rs. 1,39,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and gets the highest range, top speed, and number of features among the three Ola scooters. The S1 Pro packs a 4kWh battery and draws power from a 5.5kW motor. It offers 116km of top speed and 181km of maximum range.
On the feature front, the S1 Pro gets a seven-inch colour TFT display, four ride modes (Eco, Normal, Sport, and Warp), side stand alert, reverse mode, a combined braking system, cruise control, ride moods, and more.
