In a bid to make its offerings more accessible, Ola Electric launched the S1 electric scooter in India. It’s priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom Delhi inclusive FAME II) which makes it quite a lucrative offering. However, if you are looking for other options in the same price range, this list is for you.
Suzuki Burgman Street Ride Connect Edition
Suzuki Burgman Street has been around for a long time now in the Indian market. It retails at Rs 93,300 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Ride Connect edition. Suzuki has powered it by a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that develops 8.58 bhp and 10 Nm. It features a fully digital Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a USB port, and LED illumination.
TVS Ntorq XT
Another option in the list of alternatives for the Ola S1 is the TVS Ntorq 125 XT. With an asking price of Rs 98,411 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Ntorq XT is the most premium scooter offering from the Hosur-based bikemaker. It houses a 124.8cc single-cylinder motor dishing out 9.25bhp and 10.5Nm. On the feature front, the XT is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster with TVS SmartXonnect, LED illumination, smartphone connectivity for call/SMS and other notifications, lap-timer and voice assist as well.
TVS iQube
One of the direct EV competitors for the Ola S1 in terms of pricing is the TVS iQube. It retails at Rs 99,130 (on-road Bengaluru) and is loaded with features. Powered by a 3.04kWh battery mated to a 4.4kW motor, the iQube gets features like LED instrumentation, smartphone connectivity, navigation, geo-fencing and more.
Bajaj Pulsar NS125
The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is the entry ticket to the NS line. It costs Rs 1,04,371 (ex-showroom Delhi) and borrows the design from the larger NS200. The sporty naked motorcycle is powered by a 124.6cc single-cylinder mill with the output rated at 11.6 bhp and 11 Nm. It features a semi-digital instrument console, gets telescopic front forks, preload-adjustable rear shock and a front and rear disc brake setup.
Simple Energy One
Last but not the least, the Simple One electric scooter has also made it to the list. It’s yet to go on sale but Simple revealed the pricing last year and the One will retail at Rs 1,09,000 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). It’s powered by a 4.5kW motor and gets a dual-battery setup (one fixed and one removable). The Simple One also features a full TFT display with Bluetooth compatibility, riding modes, navigation and more.
