Ola recently launched the S1 X electric scooter range in India with prices starting at Rs. 89,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). However, the company is offering the S1 X range at a discount of Rs. 10,000 till 21 August, 2023.
So, in essence, the S1 X 2kWh version is now priced at Rs. 79,999, while the S1 X 3kWh variant costs Rs. 89,999. On the other hand, the Ola S1 X Plus is priced at Rs. 99,999. Note that these prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru and are valid until 21 August.
All three variants of the Ola S1 X range are powered by a hub-mounted motor that offers 6kW of maximum power. That said, while the base S1 X model gets a 2kWh battery pack, the other two variants get a 3kWh battery pack. The S1 X 2kWh version offers a top speed of 85kmph and a true range of 85km. On the other hand, the S1 X 3kWh and S1 X Plus provide a true range of 125km in Eco mode, and a top speed of 90kmph.
Ola claims that the 0-100% charging time for all three scooters is 7.4 hours. The S1X range shares its cycle parts with the S1 range. It rides on telescopic forks up front and dual springs at the rear. Then, the braking hardware comprises drum brakes at both ends. That said, the scooter’s boot space capacity stands at 34 litres.
