- Ola Series S, S1 and S1 Pro trademarks filled
- Electric scooter launch expected soon
- Bookings open
Ola has registered a trademark for Series S, S1 and the S1 Pro. We can expect the brand to call its upcoming electric scooter and its variants by these names. The company has also started accepting bookings for its new e-scooter. Customers can pay a token amount of Rs 500 to book the electric scooter. This booking amount is fully refundable and has no conditions on it.
The Ola Electric's e-scooter was also recently spied undisguised, about which we have already reported. Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola, had recently teased a few features of the upcoming electric scooter. According to the tweet and the spy images, it can be seen that the e-scooter will get a sleek and conventional design. It will feature a dual projector headlamp, DRL, an LED taillight, fully digital dash, external charging port, a hump on the footrest area, a hook for carrying luggage, best-in-class boot space (capable of carrying two helmets), a best-in-class riding range and app-based keyless access.
Ola Electric's e-scooter will be offered in colours like Black, Pink and Light Blue. On its arrival in the country, it will compete against the likes of the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and the Ather 450X. While we have now learnt about the features and design of the upcoming Ola e-scooter, we are yet to know the details related to its battery, motor, range, price and launch date. The company might launch the electric scooter anytime soon in the Indian market. To know more about the same, stay tuned to BikeWale!
