Continuing with its aggressive network expansion, Piaggio Group has opened the country’s fourth Motoplex store in Kochi. Located at Bypass Road, Padivattom, Kochi, this store provides a common platform for buyers of the Italian group’s three two-wheeler brands – Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa.
As all the three brands attract a very diverse category of customers, bringing them under one roof seems like a very smart marketing move by Piaggio. While the Moto Guzzi is popular for its modern classic motorcycles and heavyweight cruisers, Aprilia is well known for its performance-focussed motorcycles. Vespa, on the other hand, is an iconic scooter manufacturer known for its nostalgic design philosophy.
Spread over an area of 4,950 sq. ft., Motoplex Kochi is the third store of its kind in South India. Besides selling motorcycles and scooters, Motoplex Kochi will also act as a platform for enthusiasts to converge and share their passion for motorcycling.
Speaking about the store, Stefano Pelle, MD and CEO, Piaggio India said, “We are delighted to launch our concept store in Kochi. The Motoplex concept reflects the innovative vision of the Piaggio Group by offering consumers a unique experience of Italian biking under one roof. The store also aims to provide an overview of the two wheeler world, apart from showcasing the long standing history of our brands – Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi.”
