Piaggio has inaugurated a new Motoplex showroom in Pune. This is a first of its kind showroom in India which houses the Italian automotive group's three two-wheeler brands (Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa) under one roof.
Located in Shop No 5, Nyati Unitree, Nagar Road in Yerwada, Motoplex Pune aims to provide a common platform for buyers of different categories and segments. This flagship store is a part of Piaggio's strategy offering privileged services to customers to enhance their buying experience.
While the Moto Guzzi is an iconic motorcycle manufacturer popular for its modern classic motorcycles, Aprilia is well known for its performance-focussed motorcycles. Vespa, on the other hand, is a paradigmatic scooter manufacturer, which has stuck to its nostalgic design philosophy since the last 50 years. As all three manufacturers attract a very diverse category of customers, bringing them under one roof seems like a smart marketing move by Piaggio.
The one-storeyed Motoplex showroom will have the entire Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa range for display for customers. Besides selling motorcycles and scooters, Motoplex Pune will also act as a platform for enthusiasts to converge and share their passion for motorcycling. India is one of just six countries in the world to get a Motoplex showroom.
