Early this week, we were informed by Piaggio India about the launch of the Vespa 946 and the 70th anniversary edition on October 25. However, the launche has been postponed to early November due to changes in the company’s launch plan.
Both the models, the Vespa 946 and the 70th anniversary edition are being launched to increase the brand value in the country. While the Vespa 946 will be a super exclusive model, due to its price tag of close to Rs 8 lakh, the latter one would be limited in numbers, but will be more affordable. The Italian maker had displayed the Vespa 946 in the last two Auto Expos to gauge visitor’s reaction. It looks like the company has finally decided to launch the exclusive model in India.
