- Limited-edition Vespa 125 and 150 launched
- Commemorate 75 years of the Vespa brand
- Changes limited to styling
Piaggio has launched the new 75th anniversary commemorative edition models of the Vespa scooters in India. It is available in 125cc and 150cc trims that are priced at Rs 1.26 lakh and Rs 1.39 lakh, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom).
The changes in these scooters are limited to cosmetics with certain add-ons to help them stand out. And the first element that instantly catches your attention is the large, circular bag sitting conspicuously on the retractable rack at the rear. At the front, there’s a clear windscreen while the wheels have been draped in smoked grey colour. Indicating of it being the 75th Anniversary edition is the number ’75 ‘ on the apron, front fender, and under-seat panels. As for their body colours, both scooters boast a glossy metallic Giallo paint scheme along with soft Nobuk leather feel dark smoke grey seats.
Both limited-edition scooters remain identical to other iterations on the mechanical front. The 125cc version produces 9.78bhp of power and 9.60Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the larger 150cc version is good for 10.32bhp and 10.60Nm. As for the features, there’s a full-LED headlamp, conventional tail lamp, single-channel ABS (in 150) and combined braking system (in 125).
Interested buyers can book the 75th anniversary edition Vespa scooters at any authorised dealership across India or online.
