Piaggio has launched a roadside assistance program called Vespa care. It claims to be the first automotive company, in India, to provide this assistance for free of charge.
Under this new program, Vespa customers across 51 cities in India will be able to avail this service 365 days, 24x7. The Vespa care program includes onsite support to the customer, fuel delivery in case of requirement, replacement of keys in case of loss, on- site flat tyre assistance, and medical coordination in case of any emergency.

We know that after- sales care is as important as the actual purchase particularly for a premium brand like Vespa - we have developed a holistic solution for the same. Vespa Care is another step towards achieving maximum customer satisfaction. Vespa Care signifies the premium 2w owning experience we firmly believe in,” said Ravi Chopra, chairman and managing director, Piaggio.
This is a welcome move by the Italian manufacturer. Many times a customer gets stuck on Indian roads either due to a puncture or some other emergency. The company hasn’t mentioned how a customer can avail this offer but we assume it will be through a toll-free number.
