Piaggio have started taking bookings for the Moto Guzzi Bellagio in India. Priced at Rs 15.2 lakh (ex-showroom Gurgaon), this is the second Moto Guzzi motorcycle to be made available in India after the Griso 1200 8V which launched here last December.
The Bellagio is powered by a 935cc engine which develops 74bhp at 7200rpm and 78Nm of torque at 6000rpm.It has a kerb weight of 224kg and the engine is mated to six-speed manual gearbox.
Globally, the Moto Guzzi Bellagio has been pitched against the Harley Davidsion Sportster series of bikes comprising the SuperLow, Iron 883 and the Forty-eight. However, this is unlikely to be the case in India due to a huge difference in price. The bookings are being accepted at Aprillia Gurgaon showroom only but with a waiting period of six weeks.
