Piaggio opens new showroom in Pune

- Eighth Piaggio scooter dealership in Pune

- Will sell Vespa and Aprilia range

Piaggio has opened a new showroom in Pune, Maharashtra. Called Autosol, this is the eighth dealership of its kind in the metropolitan city.

This new Piaggio dealership will sell scooters of the two Italian brands – Vespa and Aprilia. Spread over 1,600 sq. ft., the showroom is located at shop no. 104, The Melange, near Aai Mata Mandir, Dapodi, Pune. It has been designed keeping with the international layout for the Italian brand. The dealership includes sales, service and spares facilities, and also sells Aprilia’s and Vespa’s range of accessories, apparel and riding gear. 

The fact that Autosol is the eighth Vespa and Aprilia dealership in Pune speaks about the popularity of these brands in the city. Last year, Piaggio posted 71 per cent growth in scooter sales. The sale of Piaggio scooters took a massive leap with the launch of the Aprilia SR 150 in 2016. Of late, the ‘moto-scooter’ has also helped boost the sales of Vespa range by increasing the showroom footfalls. The company is gearing up to double its dealership count in the next 18 months to further boost its sales.
