Piaggio is gearing up to update the Vespa range for the upcoming festive season. The updation will come in the form of new colours and revised instrument cluster.
The Vespa SXL 150 and the Vespa VXL 150 will get new bright colours in the next few weeks. The addition of bright colours is to add a bit more fun and freshness to the brand. Other than this, the instrumentation of the scooters will get a revised design. The digital instrumentation cluster on both the Vespa scooters is already quite good. With the revised instrumentation, the scooters might look more appealing. The pricing of these new paint schemes are expected to be marginally more than the standard models.
Vespa no longer sells its 125cc versions, the SXL125 and the VXL125 in India. The Italian manufacturer wants to create a premium space for its Vespa brand. So Vespa will be present only in 150cc space and above. This makes us believe that the Piaggio will fill the void with the introduction of Aprilia SR125, which is bound to get more numbers for the company.
