Royal Enfield has hired Pierre Terblanche – one the best motorcycle designers in the world. Pierre Terblanche has vast experience in the automotive design world and is respected for some incredible creations.
Before joining Royal Enfield, Terblanche used to design motorcycles along with Massimo Tamburini, at their Cagiva’s Research Center in San Marino. After Ducati was bought over by US-based Texas Pacific Group, Terblanche chose to move to the U.S.A. After quitting Ducati, he worked for Piaggio on the Moto Guzzi brand and then worked at Norton Motorcycle Company and Confederate Motors.
"I am very excited that Pierre Terblanche has recently joined our team; he is one of the most prolific industrial designers for motorcycles, and is best known for having created some extra-ordinary motorcycles as the head of design for Ducati for over a decade,” said Siddhartha Lal, managing director & CEO, Royal Enfield.
Terblanche has designed the Ducati Hypermotorad, Multistrada, Supermono, MH900e and also the iconic Confederate X132 Hellcat.
