Polaris Industries will launch Victory motorcycles in India by end of this year. Company is planning to launch the Victory Vision and the Victory Cross Country Tour in India in the first stage. The former is priced at $20,999 (Rs 11.40 lakh) and the latter priced at $22,499 (Rs 12.21 lakh). We are expecting the company to launch the motorcycles in India with a price starting at Rs 26 lakh. Both the motorcycles will come via the completely built unit (CBU) route.
"Yes we have decided to launch in the market by the end of 2013," said Pankaj Dubey, managing director and country head, Polaris India. However, he was tight-lipped when it came to pricing.
Recently, Victory motorcycles had unveiled the Cross Country Tour limited edition to celebrate their 15th anniversary. The special edition bike features an exclusive Antares red-over-gloss-black paint with gold pinstriping, the same paint job that was applied on the first ever Victory motorcycle built (on July 4, 1998).This motorcycle won’t be available in India as only 150 units will be built for sale worldwide.
