A production ready version of the KTM 790 Adventure has been spotted testing less than a month after the prototype was revealed at the EICMA.
KTM has carried forward the prototype’s design language and sports a production-ready upswept exhaust, bash plate, a weirdly-bulging lower fairing, conventional front mudguard and LED headlamps. The 790 Adventure will use the same 799cc parallel-twin engine as the 790 Duke. That engine produces 103bhp and 86Nm of torque and we expect the 790 Adventure’s power figures to be in the same tune.
The 790 Duke prototype was spotted testing in 2016 and the production version was unveiled this year. Since the 790 Adventure prototype has been spotted now, we expect the production version to be unveiled at the 2018 EICMA.
