- Production-ready model spotted ahead of launch
- Anupam Thareja hints upcoming launch via his Twitter account
- Will rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan
The upcoming Yezdi adventure-tourer was recently spotted in production-ready guise ahead of its launch in the Indian market. Moreover, Classic Legends founder, Anupam Thareja recently hinted via his Twitter account that the company will launch a new product. His tweet said, “About time we brought the other bother back. What say @Jawamotorcycles? #Y.”
The most recent photographs of this upcoming adventure-tourer reveal a few styling elements. These include a brief look at the paint scheme and graphics on the fuel tank, a chrome fuel filler cap, and Yezdi branding. While the new spy images give out very limited styling details, previous photographs have showcased various design cues that we will see on the Yezdi adventure-tourer. The styling cues will include a round headlight, a tall windscreen, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust.
The feature list will comprise full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster which may benefit from Bluetooth connectivity, and a dual-channel ABS. The hardware on this Royal Enfield Himalayan rival will comprise wire-spoke wheels, telescopic front forks, a rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels.
The details about the mechanical specifications are scarce at the moment, although we could see a liquid-cooled setup. We may see a Jawa Perak-sourced 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor on this adventure tourer. The engine, for reference, is tuned to produce 30bhp of power and 32.74Nm of peak torque on the Jawa Perak.
The launch details are unavailable yet. However, taking in to account all the latest updates from Anupam Thareja on Twitter, we expect to hear an announcement about the Yezdi adventure-tourer this month (November 2021).
