QJ Motor made its entry into India with a healthy range of motorcycle. This also includes the KTM 390 Duke rivaling SRK 400. While we are yet to compare the two, we tell you all that you need to know about the QJ SRK 400.
Radical styling
The QJ SRK 400 is styled on aggressive lines and creases that run all through its minimalist, streetfighter bodywork. The most radical bit of the design has to be the SRK 400’s front end. Although eerily similar to the Kawasaki Z1000, the low-slung full-LED headlamp setup looks characterful. Then there is the brawny 13.5-litre fuel tank and a short, angular tail section that exposes the bike’s rear tyre. Adding to the whole streetfighter appeal is the exposed trellis frame too in a contrasting colour.
Colour options
Speaking of which, QJ Motor is offering the SRK 400 in India in a choice of three colour options. There is black, red and white.
Parallel-twin engine
Powering the QJ SRK 400 is a 400cc, parallel-twin engine that comes with a liquid-cooling system. The motor churns out a decent 40bhp and 37Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. In comparison, the 390 Duke churns out 42.9bhp and 37Nm.
Decent features
The feature list on the QJ SRK 400 is decent to say the least. Apart from a tank that can hold slightly more fuel than the KTM 390 Duke, it gets full-LED lighting all around, dual-channel ABS and a TFT instrument cluster as standard.
Pricing
Now the pricing for the QJ SRK 400 depends on the colour option you choose. The most affordable is the white paint scheme that has been priced at Rs 3.59 lakh. Meanwhile, the black and red colours will set you back by Rs 3.69 lakh, ex-showroom. This price puts it above the 390 Duke that is priced at 2.96 lakh, ex-showroom.
