- Price dropped by up to Rs. 40,000
- A part of the new aggressive expansion plan
QJ Motors has announced a price drop across three of its motorcycles as part of an aggressive expansion plan for 2024. The QJ SRC 250 is now priced at Rs. 1.79 lakh, which makes it cheaper by Rs. 31,000. The QJ SRC 500 has received a price cut of Rs. 40,000 and now costs Rs. 2.39 lakh. The QJ SRV 300, meanwhile, is priced at Rs. 3.19 lakh, which again is a significant price cut of Rs. 40,000. All of the above-mentioned prices are ex-showroom, India and effective from today.
The company decided to revise the pricing considering the Indian market conditions and negotiated better pricing with QJ Motor headquarters. The company says that by dropping the prices of these models, it aims to offer more value to its customers.
To recap, the QJ Motors SRC 250 is a street-naked bike that is powered by a 249cc engine which develops 17.16bhp and 17Nm. On the other hand, the SRC 500 is the cruiser in the company’s Indian product lineup. It has a 480cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 25.3bhp and 36Nm. Then, there’s the SRV 300 which is the quicker and more modern cruiser, featuring a 296cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that makes 29.88bhp and 26Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Its Bassinet-type chassis is suspended by a USD fork and twin-shock absorbers. All of these bikes are sold at Moto Vault dealerships in India.
QJ Motor’s revised pricing strategy could pique interest among prospective buyers. However, Adishwar Auto Ride, the company that has brought QJ Motor to India, would also need to expand the Moto Vault sales and service network rapidly to make further in-roads into our highly competitive market. At present, there are 28 QJ Motors showrooms in India.
