Chinese two-wheeler brand, QJ Motors has unveiled its fully-faired middleweight motorcycle, the SRG600. The motorcycle could be sold as the Benelli 600RR in several international markets. Here we explain the middleweight product in detail.
Styling
The QJ SRG600 is a fully-faired motorcycle. The product is based on the same platform as that of the 2020 Benelli TNT 600. Styling cues include a twin-pod headlight setup, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, muscular fuel tank, split-style seats and rear-tyre hugger mounted number plate. The sporty character of the motorcycle is emphasised by clip-on style handlebar that gives it forward-leaning riding position.
Features
The motorcycle also benefits from modern features like full-LED lighting, a full-colour TFT display and keyless ignition.
Engine
The fully-faired model uses a 600cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor is tuned to produces 80.4bhp and 55Nm on the TNT 600. The specifications for the SRG600 are yet to be disclosed. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from a quick shifter.
Hardware
The SRG600, similar to the TNT 600, features premium hardware. The motorcycle is built around a trellis frame. The suspension setup includes upside-down forks and an offset mono-shock at the back. Anchoring power comes from dual discs at the front and a single rotor at the back.
Launch
Benelli has aggressive plans for the Indian market, and the two-wheeler brand has already confirmed seven models that will receive the BS6 upgrade. The 600RR should arrive at our shores as well, although the official details are not available yet.
