QJ Motor is one of the Chinese two-wheeler brands under Adishwar Auto Ride group in India and the SRK 400 is its flagship offering in our country. We recently rode this KTM 390 Duke-rival for a few days and our road test review is already live. Now, considering it’s quite a looker, amongst many other things, we bring you some of the most stunning pictures of the bike from our review.
The SRK 400 boasts an aggressive and athletic stance with sharp cuts and contours all across its bodywork. The radical design of the bike is indeed one of its USPs.
At the front, there’s a sinister-looking twin-pod LED headlamp along with chunky USD forks which lend it a muscular visual appeal. The fuel tank extensions are sleek and sharp and they look neat with the skyward-pointing tail section.
QJ sells the SRK 400 in three colours in India – red, black, and white, amongst which the latter is visually the most vibrant thanks to its yellow alloy wheels.
Apart from the design, another attention-grabbing aspect of the SRK is the loud and raspy exhaust note from its 400cc twin-cylinder motor which sounds somewhat like an inline four-cylinder mill.
The street bike pumps out an impressive 40.34bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox along with a conventional clutch.
Underpinned by a unique arch bar truck-type chassis, the SRK rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by USD forks and an offset monoshock. Interestingly, braking is handled by dual discs up front and a single disc at the rear.
QJ Motor has priced the SRK 400 at Rs 3.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it goes up against the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, and Triumph Speed 400.
