TVS Racing recently announced that it will hold the first-ever TVS Asia One Make Championship in May 2022. The company also revealed the race-spec Apache RR 310 motorcycles that the participants of this competition will use. This motorcycle gets a major overhaul over the road-legal model and here we bring you an image gallery of the race-spec TVS Apache RR 310.
As mentioned above, TVS has completely overhauled the motorcycle to make it race-ready. There are loads of carbon fibre across the bodywork and lighter components to help the motorcycle shed weight.
The styling is further enhanced through the racing livery that uses a shade of blue. The sponsor stickers are visible on the fairing alongside TVS Racing decals. The TVS Racing branding is also visible on the rear cowl and the exhaust canisters.
The changes are more than just styling revisions. The 312cc DOHC, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine uses forged pistons, titanium valves and HLHD cams, all of which have resulted in higher power output. This, along with the lighter weight, gives the race-spec Apache RR 310 a better power-to-weight ratio.
The race-spec motorcycle is also equipped with RAM air intake system that further increases the top speed.
More upgrades are visible in the hardware department. The suspension set, for example, is sourced from Ohlins and is adjustable.
The race-spec model also uses twin-sided exhaust cannisters and Dunlop soft compound radial racing tyres.
