TVS Motor Company had unveiled the race-spec Apache RR 200 of the TVS One Make Championship earlier this year. The Apache RR 200 gets several cosmetic and mechanical upgrades over the standard Apache RTR 200 4V, and here we bring you a detailed image gallery of this fully-faired model.
In terms of design, the race-spec Apache RR 200 features a full-fairing design. The motorcycle also benefits from a tall windscreen at the front for better aerodynamics.
The track-only motorcycle sheds street-legal hardware such as headlight, taillight, turn indicators, and rear-view mirrors. This helps it achieve a better power-to-weight ratio.
TVS Racing decals and the racer number are visible on the front and the side faring. The motorcycle uses blue as the base paint along with highlights of red and white across the bodywork. A “Racing Since 1982” decal is visible on the rear cowl.
Apart from styling revisions, TVS Motor Company has also added features such as adjustable suspension, TVS Racing livery, race ergonomics, and special component tyres from TVS Eurogrip to the Apache RR 200.
The suspension setup on the Apache RR 200 includes upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock.
The motorcycle continues to use a 197.8cc, four-stroke, four-valve, SOHC oil and air-cooled engine that is linked to a five-speed transmission. The company, however, has not revealed the power and torque output numbers for the race-spec model.
The anchoring hardware includes a petal-type rotor that is grabbed by a ByBre-sourced calliper at the front.
The Apache RR 200 also uses a race-style seat and front lever protector that enhances its sporty design.
