Rajini Krishnan has put up an impressive performance in the fourth round of the Malaysian Superbike Championship, last week. He scored podium finishes in both the races conducted at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), Kuala Lumpur, between 14 September and 15 September.
Rajini had a good start to the weekend after having qualified in the second place. However, he fell behind by one position at the end of the Race 1. A rain shower saw Race 2 being declared as a wet race. Rajini got off to a good start and led the race for the first 21 laps. However, he then lost his lead and finished the race in the second position.
There were a few other Indians participating in the Malaysian Superbike Championship. Prabhu Arunagiri, Vishwadev Muraleedharan and Ritesh Sapre are riding Ninja 250Rs in the 250cc category. While Ritesh failed to finish both the races due to a crash, Prabhu finished fourth in both the races. Vishwadev secured the 6th and 5th position in the Race 1 and Race 2 respectively.
