Since the past few months, the scooter market in India has been seeing a tremendous growth. Last month, the Honda Activa became the top-selling two-wheeler in the country as it overtook the country’s favourite motorcycle, the Hero Splendor. Suzuki currently has a 12 per cent market share, a major chunk of which is made up by the scooters in its line-up. Suzuki has plans to introduce six new two-wheelers this year, four of which will be scooters.
