-Revealed on official social media channel
Revolt Motors is apparently off to a good start in India as the company has announced that its electric bikes, the RV400 and RV300, have been sold out for the month of September and October. Revealing this on its official social media channel, the company stated that bookings for the e-bikes are open for November-December batch. Notably, this is in regards to Delhi and Pune as the company has started operations in these cities only. The e-bike maker will soon widen its reach to other cities as well.
Revolt has made its debut with the launch of two electric bikes including the RV400 (base and premium) and the RV300. Sporting an aggressive styling, both the motorcycles come equipped with a plethora of modern features. In terms of powertrain, the RV400 runs a 3kW motor which is powered by a 3kW lithium-ion battery. Being the lower-spec model, the RV300 uses a smaller 1.5kW motor which is energized by the same 3kW Li-Ion battery. Both the bikes offer three riding modes including Eco, Normal and Sport which deliver varying range and top speed. The bikes are also impressive in terms of hardware as they come equipped with upside down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. While braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends, the setup is assisted by RBS (regenerative braking system).
Revolt Motors has adopted a unique pricing strategy for the bikes and you can read about it in detail here. The RV400 Base, RV400 Premium and RV300 are available with a monthly EMI scheme of Rs 3,499, Rs 3,999 and Rs 2,999, respectively. This needs to be paid for 37 months. The deliveries of the electric motorcycles will be executed as per the booking sequence and the dispatches are set to begin this month.
