Revolt Motors has announced the inauguration of 15 new dealerships across India. As a result, Revolt’s electric motorcycle, the RV400 will now be available in Raipur, Vapi, Bahadurgarh, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Bhubaneswar, Kota, Agra, Jhansi, Meerut, Surat, Dehradun, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.
The company mentioned in its release that it intends to drastically widen its dealership reach. The aspiration is to open over 150 dealerships pan India in the next three months. Revolt says this will not only expand the RV 400’s availability but will also provide customers with needed post-sales experience backed by fully-equipped service centres. Simultaneously, Revolt is also ramping up the production of its electric motorcycle with the aim to deliver bikes to its customers immediately.
The RV 400 runs on a 5kW motor that is powered by a 3kWh battery pack. This setup concertedly delivers a top speed o 85kmph and a maximum battery range (claimed) of 120km. Notably, this battery range can be extracted in Eco mode while running it in Sport or Power mode lessens the range. Other features complementing its contemporary and sporty styling are a full-LED lighting system, a digital instrument cluster, storage space near the tank area, and speakers. The RV 400 also is also compatible to receive OTA updates.
The Revolt RV 400 is priced at Rs 1.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. It competes against the likes of the Tork Kratos R and Oben Rorr.
