- RV400 launch postponed again
- Was scheduled to be launched on 7th August
Revolt Intellicorp, the company that plans to launch India’s first AI-enabled bike, has postponed the launch of the RV400 yet again.
The RV400 was confirmed to be launched on 7th August, however, the price reveal has been delayed. The company has neither given the reason for the launch delay nor has it provided with the new launch date. The RV400 has received over 2500 bookings a few weeks ago. The company had commenced bookings through its official website and also through Amazon. The booking numbers would have definitely gone up by now.
The RV400 claims to have a riding range of 156kms and a top speed of 85kmph. The combination of these aspects along with a proper motorcycle design could have worked well for Revolt. However, the final reaction to the product will completely depend on how the company price the product, plus the sales and service reach.
We are expecting a really competitive price tag for the RV400. If that happens, expect to have a big disruption in the Indian electric two-wheeler industry.
