Revolt Intellicorp, recently unveiled their first product, the RV 400 in India. The company is now accepting bookings for the electric motorcycle that is scheduled to be launched by the end of next month.
The RV 400 can be booked for a token amount of Rs 1,000 through Revolt’s official website. However, the bookings are open only for Delhi and Pune as of now with cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad to follow. The company is expected to commence deliveries for the motorcycle by August 2019.
The Revolt RV 400 comes with a host of modern features like a push ignition button, the ability to be started via a dedicated app and a geo-fencing safety feature that notifies the user if the RV 400 leaves a pre-set geographic perimeter. Moreover, Revolt is also offering a ‘Delivery on Demand’ feature that would ensure delivery of a charged battery at the user’s location. It will also come with a portable charger, on-board charger and battery swapping stations. And while the company has been claiming the battery range to be 156kms, the pre-bookings page specifies it to be 150kms.
Although the specifications of the motor and battery will be revealed at the launch the Revolt RV 400 is said to achieve a top speed of 85kmph. The motorcycle is available in two colours option- red and black. We expect Revolt Intellicorp to price the RV 400 around Rs 1 lakh (on-road).
