Revolt has commenced the bookings for the RV400 electric motorcycle in India. The token amount is set to Rs 2,499 and the deliveries are slated to be done before 31st March.
The RV 400 features a slim and futuristic design with an LED headlight. Revolt has also equipped it with storage space near the tank area and speakers near the rider footpeg for faux exhaust sound. It’s equipped with a single-piece seat and gets a slightly forward set stance. The RV 400 draws power from a 3kWh battery linked to a 5kW (peak power) motor. It gets three ride modes - eco, sport, and power with a top speed of 85kmph and claimed maximum range of 120km.
Other features like LED illumination, a fully digital console, and OTA updates are also available. One of the highlights of the RV400 is its swappable battery pack. This gives the owners the ease of replacing the discharged battery with a charged one. It rides on USD front forks and a monoshock setup with the braking hardware comprising a front and rear disc brake with CBS.
If you are out for an electric motorcycle, then the Revolt R400 can be a viable option. But if you want to explore more options, then the Ather 450X, Ola S1, and Bajaj Chetak could also be taken into consideration.
