Revolt Motors has launched its latest electric motorcycle offering, the RV1. It is the EV maker’s newest and most affordable offering and comes in two trims - RV1 and RV1 Plus.
The RV1 range gets similar bodywork to the current RV400 but with a different front end. The RV1 dons a round LED headlight, giving it a retro-theme and making it look more commuter-centric. Revolt is offering the RV1 in multiple colours.
The RV1 can be purchased with a 2.2kWh battery or a 3.24kWh battery. The smaller battery offers 100kms range whereas the larger unit is said to offer 160km. However, the top speed for both is limited to 70kmph. The charging time for the RV1 and RV1 Plus varies since they get different battery capacities - two hours 15 minutes for the standard RV1 and three hours 30 minutes for the Plus trim.
Revolt has offered the bike with an LED headlight, an LCD, ride modes, and fast charging provision too. The RV1s hardware includes telescopic forks at the front and dual rear springs. It gets a front and rear disc brake setup mounted on alloy wheels. Revolt has opted for a conventional chain drive instead of belt setup on the RV1 lineup.
The Revolt RV1 is priced at Rs. 74,990 and the RV1 Plus costs Rs. 83,790 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). It rivals the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle.
