The Revolt RV400 was unveiled in India recently and is scheduled to be launched in the country next month. We bring to you a detailed photo gallery of the electric motorcycle straight from the launch.
The motorcycle is claimed to be India’s first AI-enabled electric motorcycle and comes equipped with a number of features.
The motorcycle can be started from the dedicated app or from the push ignition button that replaces the conventional key fob. It also gets a geo-fencing feature that acts as a safety system and alerts the user in case the motorcycle leaves a pre-determined area.
Revolt says that it will offer the RV400 with a ‘Delivery on Demand’ feature that allows the user to get a charged battery delivered to their location. It will also come with battery swapping stations, an onboard charger and a portable charger as well.
As for design, the Revolt RV400 is a street naked motorcycle with a muscular-looking tank, sharp tank extensions and a svelte rear section. It gets an LED-headlamp with LED DRL and a neatly-designed tail lamp.
The company hasn’t revealed the technical details of the RV400 but has claimed that the motorcycle will have a range of 156kms and top speed of 85kmph. The motor will be offered with three ride modes- Eco, City and Sport.
In terms of cycle parts, the RV400 rides on wheels wrapped in MRF Zapper tyres which are suspended from upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is looked after by disc brakes at both ends.
The pre-bookings for the motorcycle will commence on 26 June on Revolt’s website as well as on Amazon India. While pricing will be unveiled sometime next month, we expect it to be priced around Rs 1 lakh.
