-This is Revolt’s first International market
-To open 15 dealerships as part of the first phase
Revolt Motors has announced its entry into the Sri Lankan two-wheeler market with the launch of the RV400 and the RV 400 BRZ electric motorcycles. Sri Lanka is the first international market they have forayed into and the company plans to kickstart operations by opening 15 dealerships in the first phase.
Following the launch of the Revolt RV400 and the RV400 BRZ, the company is also expected to launch the new electric motorcycle that will debut in India on 17 September. According to online reports, the new bike is called the AW1 and is pegged as a deluxe commuter motorcycle.
The Revolt AW1 features a new design that is markedly different from the RV400 range that has been around for years. The bike is expected to be available in two battery pack options with the larger battery capable of 150km before requiring a recharge.
With Revolt’s expansion into neighbouring Sri Lanka, the company will be hoping to make a dent in the market by offering a cost-effective means of transport.
